Stimulants…

Buzzy, whizzy drugs… users may be more confident, talkative for a short period of time, but what goes up, has to come down…the comedown will often include feelings of restlessness, anxiety and maybe paranoia.
Using stimulants regularly could lead to cravings, heart and liver problems, and a tolerance where more of the drug is needed to get the same effect.

Ecstasy on sale often contains very little MDMA (the active part of E) and loads of other nasties, including Ketamine, a horse tranquilliser!

Speed, and crystal (a stronger version of speed) takes calcium from the body, which is why long-term users can end up with really bad teeth. Good advice for anyone taking speed is to regularly take a calcium supplement.

This group includes:

Ecstasy (E, Love Doves, MDMA, Smarties), Amphetamine (Speed, Whizz), Cocaine (Coke, Charlie, Snow), Amyl Nitrites (Poppers, Ram, Rush, Rock), Crystal Meth (Ice, Tina)
